Hyssop has bright blue flowers in the summer.  It attracts bees and butterflies. It has been used to get rid of coughs and reduce inflammation.  Hyssop is used as an ingredient in Eau de Cologne and Chartreuse, the liqueur.  Use Hyssop sparingly because the leaves have a strong, slightly bitter, minty flavor.  Finally, please note that Hyssop and Anise Hyssop are two very different plants that are not even closely related. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.
