Blooms with a deep pink flower in June - August. This plant is known as "Creeping Thyme". As the name suggests, it has fragrant leaves and makes a great groundcover. It is particularly good as a filler around stepping stones or in rock gardens. It is deer tolerant, drought tolerant, and tolerant of poor soils. It does best in sandy, well-drained soils. It is partially evergreen meaning that in mild winters, it can be evergreen. It is grown in a 1 gallon pot.
It is available for local delivery or pick up at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146. Plants will be ready for pick up or delivery in May.
