Blooms May-June with a stunning purple flower with a yellow interior. This plant is native to North America and is a member of the iris family and will reseed itself but not as vigorously as other varieties. It will need to be split every 2-3 years and does best in well-drained but consistently moist soils that don't dry out.  It is grown in a 1 gallon pot. 

It is available for local delivery or pick up at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146. Plants will be ready for pick up or delivery in May.
