Suitable for light shade, this variegated, warm-season moor grass which grows in a nice, compact habit ideal for borders, mass planting, around ponds, and along walkways. It blooms burgundy in summer, maturing to a golden tan. Drought tolerant and deer resistant. It tolerates dry soils as long as they are not alkaline. This plant prefers full sun to part shade. The plant is grown in gallon pots. It is available for local delivery or pick up at Walnut Grove Vocational Farm located at 33600 Pearl Street Kirkland, IL 60146. Plants will be ready in May for pick up or delivery.
