Dinner for Good Presented by Cresswood Shredding Machinery
Rooted For Good (RFG), formerly DeKalb County Community Gardens, a local not-for-profit working to end food insecurity in DeKalb County, is hosting a locally-sourced, “Dinner for Good”, Friday, September 26.
With Dinner For Good, we want to share the best flavors from the region and the behind-the-scenes work of RFG to feed our neighbors.
Here is a list of the evening's activities:
5:30 pm - An optional tour of the RFG / Northwestern Medicine Garden; meet us at 2475 Bethany Road in Sycamore to see where RFG grows thousands of pounds of fresh produce to feed our community!
6:00 pm - Hors d'oeuvres at RFG warehouse, 2280 Bethany Road in DeKalb.
6:30 pm - Dinner at the warehouse with Wild Carrot Cooking Company and a few words from RFG leadership, volunteers, and sponsors!
