Andropogon gerardii 'Red October'

Height: 2-4 ft without bloom, 5-6 ft with bloom. Spacing: 18 inches. Sun. Brilliantly colored variety of the native Big Blue Stem grass starting as deep green with red highlights becoming various shades of red in fall with red blooms as well. Deer and critter resistant. Drought tolerant. Available in 1 gal pot. It is available for local delivery or pick up at Rooted For Good Kirkland located at 33600 Pearl Street Kirkland, IL 60146.
